My passion is to aid those who have experienced loss to move from just surviving and begin to thrive by deliberately designing their future.

I've spent the better portion of my life on the spiritual path. From the time I was about 7, I questioned the nature of reality, religion, spirituality and the concepts surrounding God, Life and death.

I've struggled for most of my life to even think of myself as a Mystic.  That word is so loaded with meaning. I've come to realize tho, that we are ALL mystics. Each of us comes into this physical existence with intuitive gifts and abilities. They are so inherent in us that we use them without even thinking about them.

While growing up, I would *know* things... I knew about the crossings of my grandparents and other loved ones before they happened. I knew if certain choices were good ones and I would know if different projects I was working on would be successful - long before others did and often in the face of obvious problems and mistakes.

I've spent the last 30 years working in Higher Education. My primary motivation was to help people do things better, faster, more effectively - basically a Master Change Agent. In the process, I also tried to motivate, encourage and educate others on their own ability to be successful and achieve what they wanted.

And, I just thought EVERYONE knew things the way I did, so I never really questioned my own ability. My husband use to tell me that I had an ever so unique way of looking at the world.

Frankly, it is just a part of who I am.

In February, 2008, with my husband's support and encouragement, I decided to hang out my shingle and officially launch my Process Re-engineering Consulting  firm - Aspire Higher Consultants. I was on top of the world that first week. I had *finally* achieved a life long dream - my own 'official' business.

Little did I know how dramatic my life was to change...

Within three days of starting the company, my husband had a massive and fatal heart attack. If there is any situation where the rubber of spirituality hits the road of reality - it is with the sudden death of a loved one - especially when you think you've finally reached a life long goal.

So, there I was... trying to figure out what in the world to do with my life - a life that had so many plans where he was key to my happiness.

This was, apparently, the Universe sending me a 'wake up' call.

In the time since his crossing over, I've traveled a long and winding road. A road that many travel when faced with the apparent 'loss' of the 'love of your life'.

I finally decided to answer the call - to accept the spiritual gifts I've been given. To serve, with purpose, understanding, love, knowledge and awareness that death is not permanent - even if it seems to be. I have come to know and understand that love never dies, that deeath is only a transition.

In my discoveries, I have also made it my 'mission' to help society redefine what death and dying, life and living are truly all about. To that end, I've committed to help others Triumphantly Thrive, not just merely survive through the supposed 'losses' in life.  This is what has prompted me to become an Intuitive Life and Bereavement Coach.
